Local Triathlons….

The gorgeous weather and progression of my half training has me thinking to other events this year. Specifically triathlons.

This list started out much smaller, but it seems like a handy reference now for anyone in Central Illinois area for triathlons. Granted, my pros and cons list exist to serve me. :)

4/2/2011 – Boiler Sprint Tri $35

    I’m not in the area :) and I don’t want to do a try.

    But once again I’m amazed how expensive racing in the US is. I pay around $ 20 for a half marathon fee. A 5K is under $ 10 usually.

      wow! that’s low! I didn’t realize the tris were so much but it looks like USAT sets the price for those.

      Sometimes the smaller local 5Ks that aren’t trying to fundraise are $10-15.
